For 18 years, KIDS COUNT has been West Virginia's most trusted source of information about the well-being of children and a leader in the effort to educate parents, policymakers and the public about what children need to thrive and achieve.

Staff

The organization is led by one of West Virginia's most respected and accomplished child advocates, Margie Hale, and a talented support team in Assistant Director, Pam Folden, and Director of Communications, Laura Gandee. Although the KIDS COUNT staff is small, they are deeply committed to improving the lives of West Virginia's children and bring to the mission a wide range of experiences and expertise.
